Project:
AI systém pro odhalování, předvídání a prostorovou lokalizaci poruch a rizik ve vodovodní infrastruktuře s ohledem na sezónní výkyvy kvality a množství vody
Registration number:FY02010125
Realization period:01.09. 2026 – 31.08. 2028
Leader at TUL:Ing. Jan Kočí
The objective of the project is to develop and validate an advanced predictive system, TIVOR® WaterSafe, enabling drinking water operators to shift from reactive to predictive management of water production and distribution. The project builds on the previous successful collaboration between VODA CZ s.r.o. and the Technical University of Liberec in the field of AI for wastewater treatment and extends the proven TIVOR® technology platform into the drinking water segment. The system will include an AI module for water quality prediction, a module for detecting failures and leaks based on the analysis of pressure, flow and acoustic data, a component for optimisation of water treatment plant operations aimed at reducing the consumption of chemicals, energy and wash water, and decision-support tools providing operators with clear warnings, development scenarios and recommendations for optimal interventions. The project will result in a validated technology integrated into the TIVOR® platform as TIVOR® WaterSafe, demonstrating its practical usability, benefits for water supply quality and stability, and operational cost efficiency. For VODA CZ s.r.o., the project represents the creation of a new product pillar, strengthening the company’s competitiveness in digital water management solutions and providing an opportunity to enter a new market segment in the Czech Republic and internationally.
